"Recession Runs"
The goal: We want everybody to simply fun and get people outdoors to enjoy the regions trails and parks. Whether you want to jog easily or go for a personal best, we hope you will join us for these no-frill timed races.
To Register: Stop in at Elite Runners & Walkers. Download and app from above link
or, if you must, regsiter on race day. Registration will only be open for 1/2 before the event. These are small timed runs and we are not renting any facilities for a big pre-or post event. We will however, treat eanyone who comes to some basic post-race runner's fare to rehydrate you.
Shirts are first come first serve for the first 100 per race so register early for all the races.
The Goodies: First 100 Participants at each race will receive a tech tee.
In addition, all finishers will receive a ticket good for a free beverage at Pepperocini's Restaurant and Bar located adjacent to the start for all evening races in Oakdale. All races are just that, a no-frills race with basic food and beverage afterwards. Times will be posted on eliterunners.com after each race.
For safety and to keep our costs down, all races are planned to take place on trails, although the Panhandle Trail and our 3rd location are more road-like vs. the true trails through the woods in Settler's Cabin. For those who have not trail run through the woods, the events at Settler's Cabin will be that much more fun.
