Cross Country Spikes

Cross Country Spikes are a great way to get more competitive whether you are a beginner or experienced runner. The Spikes are more lightweight for competition with removable metal spikes on the bottom of the shoe for better traction.

Some Spike Tips:
1. Check the regulation length on the course you are running on - some schools or courses may not want you to use longer than a certain length - we do carry all the replacement spikes in varying lengths so there will not be a problem finding you the right length for your needs. 2. When it is muddy or slippery out you may want to use longer spikes- similarly if the ground is hard and dry try a shorter length 3. Check the surface you are running on. If the majority of the course will be on a paved path then the spikes will not be as effective and you may want to race in your trainers or replace the metal spikes with blanks 4. Spikes will last longer than your training shoes because you are not using them as often but they do wear out and eventually they will need to be replaced
